The best time to fill tank is when you have half a tank of gas or less. Or feel free to purchase your gasoline when you find a low price that you cannot drive past.

| |
After filling up, be sure to click your gas cap at least 3 clicks. Improperly sealed gas caps allow fuel to vaporize out of your gas tank.

Purchase your gasoline at a busy gas stations. High volume stations refill their underground tanks more often than gas stations that are not that busy. Stations that are not busy may have stale contaminated gas. Older fuel provides a lower level of fuel economy and performance.

|
| |
Avoid gas stations that just received delivery from their suppliers. When the underground tanks are refilled, it stirs up particles that lay at the bottom. If these particles get in to your gas tank they can lower the fuel efficiency of your car.
